2014 in review

Thank you all for reading my blog this year.  I have neglected it quite a bit since June while working on my book.  So far I have 23 out of 31 chapters written.  I really thought it would be easy to write but have found that I procrastinate quite a bit, especially in the hard parts where a lot of emotion is involved.  But even in the procrastination of the writing process things are getting done.  Lots of research has been happening so that I can make sure that the dates in my memory actually match up with the events that took place.  I have learned a lot during my research, some good, some bad, and I have connected with people I have not spoken to in over 30 years.  So all in all even though I have neglected my blog, I have continued to go forward and make progress on a lot of things this year.  Thanks again for reading my blog these last couple years, I can’t tell you how much it has meant to me.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 890 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 15 trips to carry that many people.
