Whatever

Several years ago between 2003 and 2007 I attended a wonderful church with a great group of ladies that were fantastic role models for me.  The ladies of the church had a Secret Sister (Pal) program where they exchanged names around Christmas time.  This gave them a chance to get a new sister and to give the sister of that year a final present revealing who they were.  The rules were that if at all possible your secret sister was to remain a secret the entire year.  The only requirements for gifts was that you were to pray all the time for your sister.  If you wanted to give your sister a secret gift each month that was your choice.

I wrote this poem for my secret sister as part of her final gift of that year.  Unfortunately, I had several secret sisters while I attended this church and I didn’t date it or write down my secret sisters name for that year so if she reads my blog I hope she recognized this poem.  Still sending lots of prayers for all my secret sisters from those great years.

Whatever

Whatever time it is

Whatever year

Whatever month

Whatever day

Whatever hour

Whatever minute

Whatever second

That is the time to

Praise the Lord and

Bless His Holy name

Take time out today to

Do Whatever!

When someone comes to

You wanting something

Just tell them that it is your

Whatever time

You are spending your

Whatever time

With the Lord.

I hope you have many

Whatever moments

In your life.

May God Bless you always!

Whatever

Your Secret Sister
