Too Many Things to Do

I have spent a while the last couple months exploring my creative artistic side.  I just completed my first drawing for a total stranger that I have only spoken to once as a new logo for her business.  She let me have free reign over the design and I am looking forward to giving it to her.  I have thoroughly enjoyed creating pictures for my family and friends and I am not done yet.  I have several pictures that have been requested by family which I will begin to do shortly.  One is for my nephew Dylon, one for my nephew John, one for my friend Rose, and one for my son Alan.  However, they are going to be put on hold for just a little while, because I have also promised to read and review two books.  Plus I have my book club book to read before our meeting at the end of the month.

On a side note:  If you want to see more of my designs besides the ones that I have posted here in my blog go to the website sumo.fm click on the people link and in the search box type “mrscharmcd” and search.  My avatar on that site is an abstract cat, click on that picture and my gallery will open up.  Enjoy.

Now back to my rant… I sometimes wish that there was a clone or two of me that I could assign different tasks too.  When me the real person got tired of doing one task I could ask one of the clones to complete it, and go on to another task without worrying that the task would not get completed to my satisfaction.  Since the clone is me, I know the person would do the project the exact same way as the real me would do it.

Of course since I have to be in control and get things done my way, the real me would be watching over the clone mes shoulder making sure I did it right.  Talk about defeating the purpose of having a clone, might as well just do it myself.  Hence the need to stop and pick and choose.

I recently read a blog post by Crankycaregiver, the writer of a new blog I am following.  She said “I have to write, it’s like breathing to me now, and a day with no inspiration is pure torture.”  I have been writing off and on all my life and I am starting to feel that way about writing this blog.   So I find myself posting more and more posts, which also takes time and once again I am back to wanting to have a clone.  Today, I got a happy anniversary message from wordpress.  My 26th anniversary is tomorrow and I thought, how cool is that, they remembered my anniversary.  Then I wondered how they knew it was my anniversary so I clicked on the link and they were congratulating me on my 2 year anniversary of the date I signed up with them.  I then realized that they had no clue about the other anniversary…

Now I am going to sign off and go back to Facebook and read my friends status updates and play some more of those addicting games….and check my email…and plan my next drawing…etc. etc. etc……
