What to Write Next?

I have the urge to post on here quite often. I think of topics and then quickly change my mind. Today I decided to do a google search for topics to write about. I found lots of websites. Some had just a few topic suggestions. One had 100 suggestions. Another one was promising, with 47 topic suggestions. When I went to that site, all I found was a page selling a book with the 47 topics for $27.99. Wow, who knew that finding topics to write about could lead to earning money. I quickly left that page and continued on with my search. Along the way, I copied and pasted the information into a word document.
What I found myself doing was also keeping all the information related to that page for bibliography purposes. I guess it really doesn’t matter how long you are out of school, and how long ago you were a teacher. Once an English teacher always an English teacher even with yourself. So now I have 5 pages of topic suggestions to write about. How many did I pick to write this post? You guessed it 0.
One of the hardest things to do is to write something that you want others to read and not second guess yourself on what you think they will enjoy or want to read or even post a comment about. I read other blogs all the time and really enjoy them. I sometimes post a comment but most of the time I don’t. Here I am wanting people to comment on my posts, but I don’t comment on theirs.
One of the suggestions I read in my search was to answer comments made on the blog using them like they were some sort of question. I guess that would work, but first there have to be comments to use. So come on people who are reading my blog. Leave me a comment with a topic you would like to see written about. Keep it clean, anything inappropriate will be deleted immediately. Guess what, I decide what is inappropriate, unless Akismet catches it first.
